1. In Outlook, go to File, Click the Info tab
  2. Click Add Account
  3. Click Manually configure server settings or additional server types radio button.
  4. Click Next.
  5. Click the Internet Email radio button – Select IMAP or POP (we recommend IMAP).
  6. Click Next.
  7. Enter the following information: 
    1. Your Name: This is the display you want to use, such as John Steve.
    2. Email Address: This is your full email address, such as username@yourdomain.com.
    3. Ensure that you select the correct Account Type: IMAP or POP3
    4. Incoming Server: mail.yourdomain.com (use your actual domain name here). 
    5. Outgoing Mail Server: mail.yourdomain.com (use your actual domain name here). 
    6. Username: This is your full email address, such as username@yourdomain.com (use your actual domain name here).
    7. Password: This is your email account password (Passwords are Case Sensitive).
  8. Your mail server requires “SMTP authentication”, follow these steps to configure SMTP authentication:  
    1. Click More Settings
    2. Navigate to the Outgoing Server tab
    3. Select the “My Outgoing Server requires SMTP Authentication” checkbox.
    4. Select “use same settings as my incoming server”
    5. Click the “Advanced” tab,
    6. Change the Outgoing Server (SMTP) port from 25 to 587. 
    7. **This step only applies to POP3 (If you are setting-up IMAP, skip this step)
      1. In the “Delivery Section”, select – “leave a copy of messages on the server”
      2. Check the box “remove from server after”, enter 30 days.
      3. Check the box “remove from server when deleted from deleted items folder”.
  9. Click OK, Click Next.
  10. Click Finish.
  11. Close Outlook and reopen it.
